How We Build

How we build: no discovery theatre.

Four steps. You see working software in the first fortnight, not a statement of work in the first month.

1. We watch you work (Week 1) — Before anyone writes code, we sit with how the job actually runs today — including the ugly parts held together by memory and sticky notes. Most of what gets built is decided here.
2. You see it working (Weeks 2–3) — You get something real and clickable early, not a document describing something real. It will be rough. That is the point — it is far cheaper to change your mind at this stage.
3. We build the real thing (Weeks 3–8) — The working version, connected to your live data and the tools you already use. We test it against real cases from your business, not invented ones.
4. You own it (Handover) — It runs on your accounts, under your logins, with the code and the documentation in your hands. Keep us on to extend it or do not — either way it stays yours.

What we built: An answering assistant that picks up on the first ring, works out whether it is an emergency, books the estimate, and texts the owner a summary.

Spreadsheet sprawl

The problem: Quotes in one file, jobs in another, invoices in an inbox. Nobody could say what was owed without an afternoon of reconciling.

What we built: One database tying quote to job to invoice, with a dashboard that answers "what is outstanding" in a glance.

Cold pipeline

The problem: Growth came entirely from word of mouth, which meant good months and terrifying ones with no way to predict either.

What we built: A lead engine that finds businesses matching their best past customers, enriches each one, and drops a ranked list into the CRM every morning.

Leads gone cold

The problem: Estimates went out and then nothing. Following up depended on somebody remembering, and somebody rarely did.

What we built: An automated sequence that follows every quote on its own schedule, stops the moment the customer replies, and flags the warm ones.
