Google Business Profile setup in San Diego — $750 one-time

Set up once.
Set up right.

The listing Google shows before anyone reaches your website, finished by hand in 10 business days. One price. Nothing renews.

What it is

Your profile, claimed, verified and filled in properly

A Google Business Profile is the free listing Google shows for your business in Maps and in the map pack: name, address, phone, hours, photos, reviews, services and posts. A lot of profiles are half-finished — one category, no services, a few old photos. This is the whole thing done once, by the founder, by hand, so Google knows exactly what you do and where, and a customer sees a business that is open and answering.

What it costs

$750, one-time, per location

No monthly fee. No contract. No setup fee beyond the $750. You pay once, you get the finished profile, the handoff doc and a walkthrough call, and nothing renews. If you want it managed after that, the Local SEO Starter is $1,400 a month, month-to-month, and you can decide that later or never.

Start any monthly plan in the first cohort and the $750 profile setup is on us.

Who it is for

One location, no profile worth the name

A San Diego County business that is new, or claimed its profile years ago and never touched it, or bought one of the cheap automated setups and got nothing. Contractors and trades first — plumbers, HVAC, roofers, electricians, landscapers — then clinics, shops, restaurants, gyms, salons and professional firms. If your customers type what you do and expect Google to hand them someone nearby, the profile is where that starts.

Marketing: San Diego County. Custom builds: anywhere in the US, delivered remotely.

How long

10 business days. One caveat.

The work is delivered in 10 business days from the day we have your logins, photos and answers. The one step we do not control is verification: Google decides the method and the timing, and it can take days or weeks. We prepare everything for it, sit with you through it, and keep building the rest of the profile while it is pending. Nobody can promise a ranking from a profile, and we do not. What we promise is a finished, correct, owned listing.

What you get for $750

The whole profile.
Itemized.

This is the list we work from. It is the same list you get in the handoff doc, checked off.

  1. 01 / Claim & verify

Claim and verify the profile, with help through Google's video or postcard verification.

  2. 02 / Categories

Primary and secondary categories, chosen for what you actually do and what people search.

  3. 03 / Description

A 750-character business description, written in plain language, using the full space.

  4. 04 / Services & products

The full services and products list, each with its own description.

  5. 05 / Hours & area

Hours, holiday hours, service area and attributes, set correctly.

  6. 06 / Photos

Up to 20 client-supplied photos edited, named and uploaded. We do not shoot them; you send them.

  7. 07 / Q&A

6 seeded Q&As — the questions customers ask before they call, answered on the profile.

  8. 08 / First posts

The first 4 posts written and scheduled, so the profile is not empty on day one.

  9. 09 / Review engine

Your direct review link, a QR card, a plain-language ask script and an SMS template. Real reviews from real jobs.

  10. 10 / NAP check

Name, address and phone checked and fixed on the top 10 directories: Google, Bing Places, Apple, Yelp, Facebook, Nextdoor, BBB, Angi, Houzz, Thumbtack.

  11. 11 / Website link

A UTM-tagged website link, so the profile's traffic shows up in your analytics as its own line.

  12. 12 / Baseline

An Insights baseline screenshot on handoff, so you can see what changed later without guessing.

  13. 13 / Handoff

A one-page handoff doc and a 30-minute walkthrough call. You keep ownership of the profile; Haymaker is added as a manager and removed on request.

Ownership

It is your profile. It stays your profile.

The profile is created under your Google account or transferred to it. We are added as a manager to do the work and removed the day you ask. You own everything: the profile, the photos, the copy, the review link.

Not included

So there is no argument later

  • Ongoing posts or management after the first 4 posts
  • Review responses after handoff
  • The 50+ directory build (that is month one of the Starter)
  • Website work
  • Ads
  • Photography
What happens after

Handoff.
Then it is up to you.

Day ten is a call, a document and a finished profile. Nothing renews unless you ask it to.

01 / The handoff

A 30-minute call and a one-page doc

We walk you through the profile, the review link and the ask script, and where to post if you want to keep it alive yourself. The doc has your logins, the checklist with everything ticked, and the baseline screenshot. If you never want to hear from us again, that is a complete outcome. Plenty of businesses should stop here.

02 / If you want it ongoing

Local SEO Starter, $1,400 a month

Four posts a month, photo refresh, Q&A, a response to every review within two business days, a monthly review-ask campaign, the 50+ directory build-out in month one, one new keyword-targeted page a month, rank tracking on 10 keywords and a monthly report and call. Month-to-month, no setup fee, no minimum term: cancel with notice before the next billing date and that month is the last one billed. The Starter in full, and every price in one place.

03 / First cohort

Start a monthly plan and this is on us

Start any monthly plan in the first cohort and the $750 profile setup is on us. Ten seats or March 31, 2027, whichever comes first; one location per client; waived, never refunded. The one thing we ask in return is permission to publish an anonymized before-and-after at day 90 — your trade and your area, numbers only, no business name. We do not name clients. Nothing about it is tied to a review, ever.

Why this and not an automated setup

One person.
By hand.

The automated setups exist and they are cheap. This is a different thing, and the difference is in the list above.

  • Every field is written for your business

The founder reads your website, your reviews and your answers, then picks the categories, writes the description, builds the services list and names the photos. An automated setup fills the fields; it does not know that you do tile roofs and not shingle, or that you cover Poway but not Temecula. Google ranks on those details.

  • The review engine is included

Reviews decide the map pack more than any other single thing you control, and most businesses never ask. The link, the QR card, the script and the SMS template are in the $750, so on day eleven you can ask the customer you just finished a job for, in words that do not sound like marketing.

  • Verification is handled with you, not left to you

Google's verification is where most do-it-yourself and automated setups stall. We sit with you through the video call or the postcard, prepare the evidence Google tends to ask for, and if the profile is suspended we help with the appeal. Google still decides. We do not pretend otherwise.

  • You keep ownership and there is nothing to cancel

The profile lives in your Google account. We are a manager you can remove. There is no monthly fee attached, no contract, and no upsell required for the setup to be complete. New shop. No fake reviews. Est. 2026.

Questions owners ask

Straight
answers.

Is there a monthly fee?
No. The Google Business Profile Setup is $750, one-time, per location, and nothing renews. There is no contract and no setup fee beyond the $750. If you want the profile managed after the handoff, that is a separate product — Local SEO Starter at $1,400 a month, month-to-month, cancel any time — and you can decide that later or never.
How long does verification take?
The setup is delivered in 10 business days, but the verification step inside it is Google's, not ours. Google chooses the method — video, postcard, phone or email — and how long it takes: usually days, sometimes weeks, occasionally longer if Google asks for more evidence. We prepare everything, sit with you through the video call or watch for the postcard, and keep working on the rest of the profile while it is pending. We cannot speed Google up and we will not tell you we can.
Do I need a website?
No. A Google Business Profile works without one, and plenty of service businesses get their first calls straight from Maps. If you have a site, we add it with a UTM-tagged link so you can see the profile's traffic in your analytics. If you do not, the profile still gets set up in full, and if you later want the Starter, month one substitutes one hosted service page on your domain.
What if my profile is suspended?
It happens, usually over an address, a business name Google reads as keyword stuffing, or a category mismatch. If it happens during the setup or shows up in the audit, we help with the appeal: we find the likely cause, fix it, gather the documents Google asks for and write the reinstatement request with you. Google decides the appeal, on Google's timeline. We do not promise a reinstatement, because nobody honestly can.
Do you post reviews for me?
No. Never. Writing, buying or seeding reviews is against Google's policy and can get the profile suspended, and it is not how we work. What you get instead is the review engine: a direct review link, a QR card, a plain-language ask script and an SMS template, so real customers can leave real reviews after real jobs. New shop. No fake reviews.
